88a Urethane Hardness Grade

88a is the lowest hardness grade urethane at DEAD and provides maximum grip and control. This wheel holds very well in sharp turns and is a good option for skating on smooth wood, metal or concrete skateparks. On rougher surfaces, these wheels can wear out quickly. If you're going with 88a wheels in the middle, make sure the frame has adequate protection from wheelbits, otherwise they can prevent you from grinding.

58mm wheel diameter
58mm is the best size for all types of street and park skating is. It is small enough to stay close to the ground and out of the way when grinding, but large enough to hold up when skating on rough surfaces on the street. The wheel features this unique rounded profile to give a natural feeling of flow when rolling and turning.
